Victoria Rodino, PhD
Hi, I'm Dr. Rodino. I've spent my career at the intersection of healthcare, technology, and equity — driven by one question: how do we make great care more accessible to every family, no matter their circumstances? That question led me to a PhD in Industrial-Organizational Psychology, where I spent years studying what actually motivates people and organizations to change — knowledge I now bring to every team I lead. As Director of Virtual Health Strategy and Innovation, I get to put that knowledge into practice every day, leading teams and building virtual care models that reach thousands of pediatric patients across Texas. This portfolio is a look at that work, the strategies, research, and conversations that have shaped it, and the ones still ahead.
A bit more on my background:
Dr. Rodino holds a PhD in Industrial–Organizational Psychology from Walden University and a Higher Education Teaching Certificate from Harvard University. She served on the Houston Christian University Advisory Committee, where she contributed to advancing healthcare education, workforce development, and policy.
Her other passion is Virtual Health, where she is widely recognized for pioneering transformative digital care initiatives. In 2016, she launched Texas' first Medical Board–approved virtual urgent care program at Children's Health Dallas—a groundbreaking model that has since expanded nationally. She later led the development of a comprehensive digital health ecosystem that now spans more than 80 specialties and expands access to essential care for thousands of pediatric patients across the state.
Dr. Rodino's current work includes evaluating value-based care initiatives and their return on investment to support more efficient, patient-centered delivery models. A sought-after speaker at national conferences, she is widely known for her thought leadership in telemedicine, digital health strategy, and the ethical integration of emerging technologies to advance access, outcomes, and health equity.
Across every chapter of her career, Dr. Rodino has demonstrated a rare ability to bridge research, innovation, and operational execution. Her multidisciplinary expertise—spanning organizational science, digital health, education, and systems design—positions her at the forefront of shaping the future of healthcare.
